It was logistically impossible to vet the amount of people the US did in such a short span of time, esp. when Afghanistan had no records-keeping infrastructure.
There were far more random Afghanis brought to the US over American allies.
You know these are the second wave of afghan refugees brought to the west, the first being the ones who fled the Russian invasion during the 80s. Interestingly we never heard a bad word said about them lol
