Ken "touch me, pay me, let me out" Shamrock on a list like this is just bizarre. Granted, he pushed through a couple wars against Ortiz (1) and Don Frye so he wanted to fight. But with the pathetic showings he has had in the last few years he can no longer be called a warrior.
Sakuraba is a warrior. He fought not only bigger but younger and better opponents and would eat horrendous punishment while hanging onto a limb trying to extend it.
Couture is a warrior. He would always do his best to win, he quit due to punishment and a fractured orbital against Ricco when he could not do more but pummeled Gonzaga with a broken arm.
There are a few. Royce, Sanchez, Taktarov, Igor Vovchanchyn, Dan Henderson come to mind. Hendo kinda sticks out with his overall fighter attitude and numerous wars.
