Only solution would be for him to fight Vitor. Not sure if Dana/joe silva would make that fight. Silva is not getting any younger and he needs to fight in dec/jan at the latest.
Not that it all really matters, no one will be close to beating him. Maybe if Vitor fight the perfect fight and silva has an off day, even then it is doubtful.

The consensus is that Weidman is a viable opponent for Andy compared to the alternatives. However the issue is the casuals have no idea who he is.
I would like a Vitor Weidman match in sept oct, with the winner fighting Andy in dec jan.
Unfortunately, there really is no competition. For Andy at this point. He just is that far above the rest. A superfight with jones is not likely, and apparently there is opposition for Suga to get an immediate shot if he drops to 185.
It doesn't matter if he is ready or not, this joke division doesn't have depth to build up a challenger for AS, if 1 arises he must be given a shot immediately or AS keeps fighting average fighters for the rest of his career

Okami had UFC wins over Belcher, Tanner(Belt Holder),Munoz, Marquardt, and the DQ win over Silva that he wanted to avenge....Do u even watch UFC or just make shit up as you go?
Yeah and only Munoz and Marquardt were in that current win streak. The wins over Belcher and Tanner didn't matter at that point. That's like saying Belfort deserved the title shot for having a win over Randy Couture.
Meanwhile, Weidman is on a 5 fight win streak with dynamic finishes and wins over 2 top 10 middleweights at the time. Who deserves a title shot over him? Lombard lost. Boetsch likely has a broken foot. Belcher hasn't even fought a top 10 opponent in his current win streak. Bisping and Stann are set to face off. There is no other contender out there. Even if there were, I'd still argue that Weidman deserves the shot.
Vitor? Yeah a two fight win streak against non top 10's is not the best selling point, but that is better than bisping and Stann, and in terms of skills, I feel he is #2
