At a catchweight of 165,Im pretty sure Alvarez has fought at 170 before if Alvarez lost it wouldnt really hurt him because he would still be lightweight champ and hed earn more respect by taking a the champ from a higher weight class.

eddie alvarez is pretty much bellator's #1 fighter, moving up a weight class to get smothered by a bigger, better wrestler would be pretty much the complete opposite of "good for bellator".
