GSP is gonna stay out of Thiago's punching and kneeing range and pepper him with kicks making the takedown all that much easier

Been thinking about that too except as we all know GSP is not the Matt Hughes of today. He will not shoot in from far off and without setting it up and GSP's tds are better than Matt's today straight up anyhow. If Alves is to time the knee off a shot, he will also have to contend with a stronger, faster, smarter fighter that will also be mixing up his leg shots with punches, kicks and combos. Not so much with Hughes.

Why didnt Alves rape Kos then being that Kos only has that big but predictable overhand right, less footmovement, speed and did not shoot any tds until he was in trouble? Even though it was evident Alves only had to worry about Kos overhand right, he still didnt really "rape him." Alves will have much more to worry about against GSP, no?
GSP's standup and tds are both better than Hughes. Alves looked impressive for sure in destroying Hughes but GSP aint Hughes.
