There's a guy at my school who "flips" them on eBay. I had no idea he made that much.

Prior to reading various threads about them here, I had no idea they even had a "reputation" as anything other than just another decent gi. There are so many good brands now I don't think it's hard to find a great one. The issue is finding one that's cut well for you. Some gis fit stockier guys, some fit lanky guys, etc.

Are shoyorolls particularly expensive from the get go? I've had Atamas and korals, and briefly considered shoyoroll when looking for a new gi recently, but they weren't selling them at the time as I guess they were out. I ended up with kingz' well-reviewed ripstop. Phone Post 3.0
