The USKBA will be conducting a USKBA Officials Certification Seminar on Amateur MMA:
Date: Saturday, May 6, 2006
Time: 1:00 pm
Location: Eastern Regional High School, 1401 Laurel Oak Road, Voorhees NJ
This seminar is open to all who want to be an Official at USKBA Amateur MMA Sanctioned events. This seminar is for people interested in becoming Referees and Judges primarily and will also cover information necessary for Timekeepers and Scorekeepers. We urge everyone interested to participate in this seminar to become a USKBA Certified Official for Amateur MMA.
To show our appreciation to everyone interested in being a USKBA Certified Official for Amateur MMA, this seminar will be FREE. But, you must R.S.V.P. in order to reserve your space. Please send your reply to: amateurmma@uskba.com. You will receive a confirmation number.
This USKBA Officials Certification Seminar will be held the same day as GHK Promotions "BEGINNINGS" Amateur MMA event...and at the same facility. The seminar begins at 1:00 pm and will last approximately two hours. We encourage everyone taking this seminar to join us for the weigh-ins at 4:00 pm and the show at 7:30 pm. At 7:00 pm, we will be conducting the pre-fight meeting for all fighters and corners.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast growing sport. We need Officials to help keep this sport safe and fair. The New Jersey State Athletic Control Board (Commissioner Larry Hazzard and General Counsel Nick Lembo) is making it possible to have Amateur MMA in the State of New Jersey. Qualified Officials will only further the growth of this sport. We hope to see you May 6th.
