I couldnt believe it when I read about it. I had to see the video. My brain couldn't process someone could be that dumb. These people are running the country. It's wild. I talked to this muslim dude I know and I told him about it and he thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever heard. They have a similar word in their religion so he understands what amen is supposed to be.Â

The usage of amen, meaning "so be it" (as found in the early scriptures of the Bible), is a word of Biblical Hebrew origin. Nothing to do with gender.
