If you guys need some medical attention in the Orlando area, check them out. No waiting and the do all the urgent care stuff too (stitches, x-rays). It is a brand new walk in clinic. very nice!

Damn.... only $500? Considering all the training and preparation that goes into BJJ, grappling, wrestling, etc.... it makes me sad that that's all we can come up with.

Ever play "Over The Line" on the west coast?

My four-man team once won a $5,000 grand prize for winning a weekend tournament sponsored by Pepsi and Budweiser.....

Just doesn't seem right.

That's awsome brianmeyers. I hope the people from that event keep it up like that.
This is an amateur event.
Your guys should compete in this event called Abu Dhabi I hear that they pay up to $10,000 and it's a very good event :)

paraguaio...... Lol, I think you may have misread something!

"Over The Line" isn't any kind of grappling tournament. It's a hitting game, like baseball or softball, but with no running. It's all about placement hitting and fielding.

I was just pointing out that it sucks, that us four guys can win $5,000 dollars for drinking beer all day and playing a game...... yet, for these guys, who bust their ass in training and preparation, can only pull in $500. Hopefully in the next few years, we can get some good sponsors and up the prize money.

Hell, I used part of my winnings in that Over the Line tourney to buy some used mats.....
