Obviously America are the producers of the heighest level athletes in the world. The Olympics proves that every four years. I don't know why that is. Maybe a focus on sport culturally?

I’m not knocking Hunt or NZ, I love some of those guys you named. No question there, but in terms of per capita, who produces the most talent, we have to rate them objectively and for all his special talent, in top level MMA, he’s .500. He’s right at 50/50. There’s certainly something to his style and old school approach, but he’s exactly carrying the flag for top level MMA. To me he’s more K1 than anything else, but I digress. Love Hunt, no question. I think to make the claim of tops in the world, NZ has to show a little more top end. Whittaker is fantastic.
I think some single states in USA have more claim. California for example (40M) has MUCH more world champs and top level dudes.
