Piper does a good job of attacking the false gospel in the above clip. The prosperity gospel is a cancer to the body of Christ. Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, etc. are teaching heresy from the pulpit. This false gospel must be exposed so that people wont believe this lie.

start your morning in conversation with the Lord and with the Father,then follow Davids example of keeping praise to the Lord on your lips throughout the day,and you will succeed,and be succesfull.
keep your money and spend it on loved ones and yourself,and then save Fathers share and keep it put up,Father will send the ones who are to recieve it to you.Do your tasks,and the blessings will flow.

maybe he's self-interested and self-promoting but it's not a given and not wise to write him off because of expressing "hatred". if you look deeper you might see that's not the case. if you don't, we disagree.

Desiring God, Pleasures of God, and Future Grace is a trilogy by Piper that focuses on giving glory to God. Very good books imo. He will send them free to people that dont have the money to pay for them. Its a pay what you can program, Ive never used that being of the persuassion that if I cant afford it I dont need it. One of the good things about Piper is he quotes a lot of C.S. Lewis, and Jonathon Edwards, and Matthew Henry. I wouldnt know anything about the latter two if it wasnt for Piper. Go check out the reviews on Amazon for Piper's books the people love him. That said I disagree with Piper about predestination and election, he is a full blown calvinist, if you can overlook that his books have a lot to teach.
and you do see what he's saying above,in most states that is considered borderline psychotic behavior,or drug addiction,most likely prescription.
and as far as people loving him,,,,lots of people love and worship a person they call satan,but i won't be jumping in with their bandwagon either....they don't even know what his real name is and they worship him,,,,once again the winners of the stupidest humans on earth for 2007,:)

The gospel of greed finds no purchase in the New Testament. The saints sold all their possesions and lived in one accord in the book of Acts. Jesus spoke against it in the sermon on the mount. These get rich quick preachers are not preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, they are teaching doctrines of demons.
