I know this is trolling, but a lot of BJ fans will agree with the Hughes part. Fitch would have LOVED to have gotten the chance to fight Hughes, but Hughes wanted none of it. Hughes was not a top ten fighter when BJ just recently beat him too. Those are just some more facts to think about.
I agree BJ beat GSP first time around. 
Fitch is a decision machine.

Plus BJ loves to scrap and finish fights. The people want to see BJ in big matchups.. The same isn't true for Fitch.
Yeah and BJ never beat GSP also. Get over it.
Yeah, it doesn't seem like BJ has had to work for his title shots as much as most guys, but I think it's because he's been correctly judged as being talented and exciting. That being said, anyone who gets by Fitch arguably deserves a shot at GSP.
I think Fitch will beat BJ though, and if BJ does get by Fitch, GSP is going to put another serious beating on him.

I'm a big fan of both guys but I think fitch is a little more deserving but bj has that what if factor

Either BJ lights him up quick and finishes Fitch off or Fitch will break his spirit.
Fitch is extremely tough mentally and that is BJ's flaw.

You cant claim BJ beat GSP because you liked what BJ did in the first round more than what GSP did in the next 2. He didnt knock him down or come close to stopping him, just carved his face up. BJ needed to finish the match much stronger if he wanted to take the dec.

Whooooooa nelly. No one here is bitching. All I did was compare BJ's and Fitch's title runs and ask you posters which is more impressive or respectable. I did not say I thought Fitch's was.
If you just assumed I did, what does that say about you? You are clearly very defensive over it and feel like you need to defend BJ, so I'm assuming you are somewhat embarrassed about BJ's title runs.
