Anderson Silva at 174lbs...

When him and Yushin Okami faught in Hawaii they both were 174lbs. I understand that was awhile ago But he has done it. I also remember a Pride fight of his where they explained that Anderson was coming up to 185 and that he normally fights at 170.

I just like to see interesting fights is all. Him and GSP would be more interesting to me if he went all the way down to 170 instead of GSP going up.

catchweight makes the most sense 178 if Anderson can still make it.  That gives him a lb and he can weigh in at 179.

Anderson seems to get super big during fights. He's didn't look depleted at all at 174 though. it's not like he wasn't a full grown man then either. He's not still growing...

thats before he was busted with syringes....(and shortly after came weight gain...)

Also at 185 he look fine not all sucked in...

he's been fighting 185 and 205 for a little while now, his body has probably adjusted sense the 170's days.

That doenst mean he couldnt do it, but he may look drained.

umm he fought at 167 too...what's your point

he should only do it if he chooses to.  Not because fanboys on a message board like to see interesting fights.

I by no means am fanboy and or do I feel like he should or shouldn't do it. It was just a thought. Something I noticed about his first fight with Okami is all.

King Koopa - Are we living in the past? Lesnar was 150lbs at some point, lets cut him down and put him in there with Aldo!

Lesnar wasn't that weight at any point when he was an adult and or during his professional MMA career...?

Anderson was 31 years old against Okami the first time...it's not a stretch to think it's very possible

there seriously can't be a sport with fans any dumber or so far out of touch with reality

Jweinberg -  he has a detachable penis

That's could make the difference between 185 and 170 and why he does't look terrible at middleweight. Also saw in an interview he get to 190 without dieting, just from training and getting ready for a fight.

Men in their mid 30s fill out a bit so it might be hard for him to make that lower weight again. Phone Post

I am a fighter and I have cut weight before so I can tell the difference between someone who is on the verge of death to make weight and someone who can't do it with little to no effort. Anderson seems to me to be the latter. Where as I am a baby and like to eat a lot of ice cream and cry as soon as I get a sweat suit on.

Draw me a picture of Lyle Fancy Pants Beerbohm and I pick that up from you :)

Joe Rogan and Dana White are the ones who started saying he "walks around at" 230 pounds or something ridiculous.  They guy is 6' 2" and quite skinny--not at all oversized for 185.

He boxed profiessionally at SMW (168 pounds) IIRC.

I don't at all think it would be easy. And it might not be possible anymore

Anderson could make 170... And the fact that he can probably scares the shit outta GSP

Apparently the two us are stupid...
