Forrest is the best matchup for Anderson, especially if he decides to keep it standing. He has close to 0% chance to win the fight on his feet though...

This is a really annoying fight. If Leben and Franklin taught us anything it’s that you can’t aggressively hunt down Silva. While a patient Forest might have a chance he knows that in order to make the UFC and fans happy he’s going to have to get after him. Forest loses this fight if he comes in aggressive, and loses fans if he fights intelligently.

 The only thing is that Forrest is going to be significantly larger than either Leben or Franklin, and he is also used to going to war with guys that are larger than Anderson and taking everything they throw at him.



This is a great matchup for Silva.  Someone who is top 5 at 205, who is tough and durable and won't back down.  Anderson might win but he will be pushed hard in this fight.

 Forrest called last night, we talked for 15 min and  he didn't mention it.  Not saying it's not true, but either:



A)He's not allowed to



B)That's typical Forrest not telling shit that I would think is a big deal.  i.e. him meeting celebs, sparring with Wand, etc...he just never mentions it, like shit I'd love to hear about isn't a big deal



C)It was done late, late yesterday afternoon.
