I was just thinking, I can't think of anybody in any organization that has defended his belt ten times. This could be that most champions of other organizations move over to the UFC, fight in multiple organizations or can't find legitimate challengers, but, I was just curious. Does anybody know if this not just the UFC record but all time MMA record? Fedor only actually defended his Pride belt twice I believe and Wanderlei four. The fact that Anderson reached ten and the fact that he did in the UFC is just amazing, in fact, only three people have WIN streaks longer than Andy's title defense record. This includes Silva himself, GSP and Royce. We all have our picks for GOAT, but in my eyes, Anderson will be the fighter I tell my son about, from his come from behind win against Sonnen, to his front kick of Vitor and back elbow of Fryklund... Silva is the GOAT in my eyes.
