Well now the GSP fight is on the table again. Not sure I believe GSP would ever sign fr this fight but if he does, Andy may be down to his last fight. The mega ppv fight that will make both guys much richer than they already are and allow Andersona perfect wy to leave the sport, having defeated the #2 p4p fighter. I'd love to see a title defense agaisnt Bisping squeezed in there prior to the GSP fight but I'm not holding my breath. Anderson could very well be down to his last UFC fight
Interesting twist, Stephen Bonner up next for the Spider. Should be a fun fight but does nothing for the legacy. After Bonner, I'm hoping we get to see Bisping next to challenge for the belt.

Herring In A Fur Coat - Of all the possible next fights for Silva, Bisping is the lease appealing option.
My preferences would be:
1. Superfight vs Jones
2. Superfight vs GSP (assuming he beats Condit)
3. Weidman-Boetsch winner
Problem with fight 1 and 2 is Jones is injured and needs to rehab before his next title defense can be scheduled and then that fight has to happen and barring injury, then he would be in line to finally fight a few months later. That puts us somewhere toward the end of next year. Anderson will be ready to go around Super Bowl time I imagine. Same issue with GSP only worse. He has to fight Condit and if he wins he has already told us that he wants to face his "bigger and better challenges" at 170. By the time he gets done with that, it will be at least 2 years from now or longer. Bisping is ready to go now so he could be the Super Bowl card opponent for Anderson and then Boetsch/Weidman winner can get a crack at him on the 4th of July card. Then toward the end of the year your Jones fight could materialize. I can't see GSP ever stepping up against Anderson so that pretty much eliminates your #2 dream fight.
I want Silva vs Bisping just for the giggles.
Bisping has been talking loudly about deserving the fight for about 2 years now and he has a good point.
Dana should just give him what he wants for the lulz.
Bisping will not beat Silva, also Weidman has not been tested yet, so I do not see how he beats Anderson
Wow, Anderson makes it look VERY easy. Bonner is a big strong durable guy who has never been stopped, short of a cut and yet Silva makes him crumble in less than a round. I'd love to see Bisping get the next shot but that doesn't seem to be a fight people want to see.
And now the discussion begins for a possible GSP/Anderson Silva fight. Two things
A. I hope it doesn't happen and
B. I don't believe it will happen
Why isn't there more of a rally for Anderson Vs Shogun or Hendo????
These fights makes perfect sense from a competitive and a monetary point of view.
Bones and GSP don't want to fight Silva. GSP is seriously undersized to deal with silva.
Shogun would be awesome; Hendo, if he defeats Machida, will surely deserve another crack at it...
Well it's difficult to say now with all that's happened to Anderson since losing to Weidman.
I truly believe the UFC dropped the ball with this whole thing in missing out on Super Fights. Of course we weren't going to ever get GSP to agree to fight Anderson, but how about some stadium shows here in the USA and in foreign markets? Bisping should have got his shot. UFC blew it.

Yeah it was probably something he only came up with to win favor with the AC.
In spite of that blip on his career he is the most impressive striker the UFC has ever had. His movement, fluidity and precision was amazing. My only regret was that he didn't spend more time at LHW. I always thought he had much more power there and would have delivered a lot of one hitter quitters at that weight.
