Im not saying it’s right or wrong, but Khabib is basically from the Wild West. If people fuck with you you can’t sue and there’s probably not much point calling the cops, you deal with it yourself. If you don’t defend your reputation you look weak, and if you look weak people with guns will take all your shit. In his mind he didn’t have a choice to do anything except go after the people who insulted him. He was smart enough to limit it to a few slaps and to wait until he had already fought and won, so he had some leverage with the UFC.
