Gotta jump in here and let everybody know that Alexis Davis, who I fought at Joslin's, just got her brown belt in BJJ from Dave Dayboll. As far as I know, she is only one of four female brown belts (Sheila, Misty, Rebecca and Alexis) in Canada.
I had the privilege of competing against her at Joslin's last year. She won both the gi and no-gi divisions. Alexis is a skilled competitor and extremely gracious in victory, and I think she represents the sports of BJJ and MMA very well.

That's going to be a tough weekend to get higher level women out. It's the same weekend as the ADCC North American trials, so I assume most of the really skilled gals will be there.
Emily is a black belt but lives and teaches in New Jersey.
Juliana Nogueira is a black belt with BTT in Montreal. AFAIK she is currently the only female black belt living in Canada. I assume you can get in touch with Juliana through Fabio. I know she is on the UG but I don't know her username.

No, she totally counts. When she got promoted by RA I posted on the UG that she was the first female Canadian black belt woman. It's just that she doesn't live in Canada and might not be able to make it up for an Ontario tournament. :)
