I don’t see this fight happening. Conor wanting it at cowboy stadium will be the reason it doesn’t happen.

Very well could be.

That said, Dustin is probably better than he was then, and Conor is probably worse than he was.

If you’re a betting man, though, you have to put money on McGregor. Until he proves otherwise, you have to assume he still wont’ be able to handle that McGregor left

If Conor still takes his mixed martial arts career seriously, he will fight Dustin.

As Khabib has said, beating Dustin means you’re ready for a title shot. It’s still a good matchup for Conor. If he wants to fight for a title again, he should fight Dustin.

Conor is better than he was but of the two Dustin is the more improved.

If Conor wins that leaves no doubt as to who is the rightful challenger regardless of who wins between Khabib and Justin.

No doubt. Dustin has improved much more than Conor. And, at 155, he is way harder to put away.

Conor would be the favorite, but not by too much.

Yup. Anyone who beats Dustin deserves a title shot.

Conor starches Dustin, again

Oliviera should be given a chance IMO

Not sure why you’d think being 10 pounds heavier would make much difference. They were both the same weight last time, and theyll be the same this time. And a good shot behind the ear is enough to rock anyone.

Olivera should fight Hooker IMO.

Conor dangling so much shit lately but not following through on any of it.

Won’t believe it until he steps through the door of the cage.

This is essentially the biggest gift that UFC could have given McGregor for a return fight.

I see this fight going down similar to the Cowboy fight. I think we see an aggressive, hungry Mcgregor coming right out the gate, going for the quick kill, and it’ll be just too much for Poirier to handle.

I’m very curious how Porrier’s improved mental game + chin at 155 affects this fight. I think you’re right, but I’m not sure that Dustin will go away as quick. How does this fight look if Conor can’t put Dustin away in 2?

That’s what worries me too. The politics of this fight and business aspect behind it may keep it from happening. We all know that Dana and Conor aren’t on the best of terms at this point in time, so yeah that worries me.

I hope I’m wrong, though. I really want to see this fight. For all the people that say Conor is scared to comeback and fight a real contender, and wants to handpick easy fights for himself, this certainly proves otherwise if it happens. Winning this fight definitely earns him another title shot against Khabib or Justin. Personally, I think Khabib wins, but we will see. Khabib said it himself! Anyone who fights and beats Dustin Poirier earns the right to fight for the title.0
