On July 16th, 4 of my BJJ students when to compete in the summer edition of Jiu-jitsu by the Bay in Albany, CA. Our team took home 2 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze. One of the our 1st place winners is about 160 lbs. and won the absolute (open weight class) division. Big congrats to my guys for another great showing.

On a side note, one of my teamates(White belt, 2-stripe I think) is up in you area for Cal Poly's summer break & said he was going to be heading into Smash for the summer. Haven't heard from him but hope things are going well.
