Anthony Johnson will be facing Tommy Speers at U.F.C. fight night here in Colorado. I prepared Anthony and hope he does well against the tough Mr. Speers. We think we have cooked the right recipe and our ready to set A.J. loose. We would like to thank all the gyms who accomodated us during his stay here in Colorado.
I know the young gent loved most of his moments here.
Next Level Juijitsu; Combat Zone; T's KO; High Altitude; everyone at Gumms Martial arts; LA Boxing; Freedom Fighters; Art of War.....
and of course the world famous.... Grapplers Edge Jujitsu.
We take all these gyms in the cage with us against Tommy and hope Colorado will support our efforts
You know, I am not so sure of that. Speers impressed me alot on that show with his grit. The guy also had 1 punch power (which the Aussie discovered the hard way) and I think now with more time to develop he is going to be tough for the lower to mid end fighters at 170 to deal with.
Scary striking display at the 155 weightclass. Not many of those guys can really KO you standing like Johnson obviously can. I don't think anyone particularly wants to fight him right now.
the fight was at 170 wasnt it??the risk to reward risk is not worth it for most wws to fight johnson..the guy came very close to Koing Clementi...he has the best hands in the welterweight class...he has great speed and his sprawl looks to be improving..he does look like a black alien though..
Is there actually a fight team at the Aurora Ballys? I know several fighters are there, but I didn't know they did anything like that. I actually go there.
If it were that convenient, I might get back into grappling again :)
