Any advice for weight cut...

Hey people,

I'm sure everyone's sick and tired of being asked what the best way to cut weight is before a fight. I have my second amatuer MMA bout in 5 weeks time and I need to get down to 72kg when I'm currently 79kg. I've been told cutting out carbs is the best way. I train 4 times a week, 2 hours per session and would be so grateful if anyone had any advice on eating plans. What to eat and what not to eat sort of thing.

Depends on your condition. I dont advise cutting water, but it may work best.

I always try to eat clean and cut water like most guys the day before. I get jittery due to nerves before most fights and eat very little before a fight. I have tuna and wheat toast for a couple meals, real small and light to just keep energy up. That always makes me lose a little bit the last couple of days.
