Get lisitings of all of the post houses in NYC, send/email your resume and
cover letter. If you send 50, you might get 2 or 3 responses. Check
craigslist, mandy.com, entertainmentcareers.net, villagevoice.com
classifieds, for opportunities. If it's possible, try to gain experience on
Final Cut Pro to expand your options. Also, be willing to take an
internship. It will most likely lead to connections and jobs.
You have to be persistent and relentless.
