Seidokaikan is the origin of K-1, but there are a lot of Seido karate styles. Seidokaikan and Seido juku are kyokushin offshots, but others like the Okinawan Seidokan, seido juko kai and several other have completely different backgrounds and very little in common except similar names. All of them habitually refers to themselves as seido kan or seido kai, as kan refers to hall (or organization), and kai to society/group.
"Seido" (with several differen kanjis and translations) is just a popular term in martial art names.
