I see him losing to Rich Franklin by 2nd or 3rd round TKO. Maybe a decision. Then, after the UFC drops him, I think he'll sign with Strikeforce and lose to either Babalu, Sokoudjou, King Mo, or Mousasi (if they give him a shot against Mousasi off the bat).

Personally, I'd rather watch Keith fight over Forrest any day of the weak, but John Q. Tufenthusiast can't help but love Forrest's "AWWW SHUCKS, I'M NOT THAT GOOD BUT I RECKON I'LL FIGHT ANYBODY" schtick.
I have a lot of time for Jardine, would be severe inustice if they cut him. wins over 2 light heavy weight title holders (Chuck & Griffin).
He can give anyone problems, if nothing else they should keep him around as a gatekeeper, if ever there was someone who fits that mould its Jardine. Potential to be a champ too if, as other people say, he had easier paths to the gold strap like other dudes.

I dont think they will ever get rid of Jardine. They would be stupid to! He is a great fighter, but will have a hard time making a title run when he fights so many tough guys and gets no gimmes.

Thiago Silva is a damn good fighter with his only loss to Machida.
And the fight with Rampage was very close and probably deserving of a rematch

They have never really promoted Jardine, and when was his last easy fight? You lose a fight by KO and they give you Wandy? You get KTFO by Wandy and they give you Thiago Silva? You get KTFO by Silva and they give you Rich Franklin?
Actually, it's worse. You lose a fight by KO to a nobody and they feed you as a sacrificial lamb to LIDDELL coming off just losing his title!!!!
They match Liddell up with Wanderlei anyway. Liddell beats Wanderlei. They have you fight the guy that the guy you just beat beat and he beats you!
Then you edge out Vera only to drop a decision to a Rampage. Then they give you the Thiago Silva match to be KTFO. So many opportunities for Mr. The Dean Of Mean and he is shot down time and time again! Either loses or is ripped off, although I guess Forrest did deserve the title shot after beating Shogun............

I don't understand fans whining about fighters having tough schedules. I'm sure Jardine and most other fighters would want it no other way. He's not being punished with fights against Liddell, Rampage, Wanderlei or Thiago, these are massive opportunities for him. Unfortunately for Keith he's been unable to make the most of these opportunities. Since beating Liddell he's been given the second largest fight on 3 cards and he's headlined one against Rampage.
I hate to say it but I think Jardine will destroy Rich.

Jardine needs to mix it up more. The only time he's really looked dominant was when he pounded Forrest out from the ground.
At this point Jardine can't afford to absorb anymore knockout losses.
Jardine doesn't have knockout power. He's unorthodox, which only goes so far now, since fighter's can just watch his past fights and easily formulate a gameplan.
fuck it win or lose i LOVE watching the dean fight! i think he is the perfect top 15 gatekeeper, and it always seems that he could make a tittle run at any time. and he is hands down way more fun to watch than forrest.
