or am i the only idiot on this board? i think if he can avoid the standup as much as possible and use his size and weight to wear on anderson and put him on the ground, he can win a decision in this fight.

 I don't favor him, but I can certainly see him winning.  Although he doesn't have the accuracy or speed that Silva does, his boxing technique and footwork are just as good.  It's amazing how much these have improved over the last few years.  That and his much larger size and reach will make this a competitive fight on the feet.  He should be able to hold his own on the ground as well and I think his height and strength will allow him to beat Silva where he is typically most dangerous--in the clinch.



IDK, I'm starting to come around to the thought that Forrest wins this as well, but Silva is one of those guys that I'm not going to bet against until he loses again.

I would really love to see Forrest win this fight. However my common sense and reasoning tell me that he is gonna get beat like a drum by the Spider.

Small chance that Forrest wins, in my judgment. His style is tailor-made for Anderson Silva. Forrest will be lured into an exchange, and he doesn't have the power or the chin to stand w/ Anderson Silva. If it goes to the ground? Well, he has a better chance, but that's not usually how he fights, and he's not going to submit Silva.

I don't think he'll win, but I'm rooting for him. It would be great for him to knock off Anderson, and make him hungry to win a fight again, instead of just settling to avoid punishment and conflicts.

Forrest has HUGE heart. if he can turn it into a brawl he has a shot. He probably will be TKO'd though.

I don't see how he can beat Anderson. I'd like to see it happen(just for a change), but I just do not see how he can do it.
