Since Cosmo is part of the Marriott family of resorts, you can book a room directly through marriott.com (instead of cosmopolitanlasvegas.com).  Rooms booked through marriott.com are subject to their low price guarantee called Look No Further Best Rate Guarantee.  If you book a room through marriott.com and find the room cheaper elsewhere, they will match the lower rate and give you an additional 25% off that lower rate.  I believe the lower rate has to be at least $1 lower.

So check room prices on marriott.com for the days you want to go.  Open another browser window and use trivago.com or hotelscombined.com to search for the same date range and hotel across a bunch of other travel sites.  Go through each room type and see if you can find one thats cheaper on a travel site.  If you find the same room cheaper on a travel site, screenshot it and complete your booking on marriott.com.  As soon as you get your booking confirmation, file an LNF claim at https://www.marriott.com/look/claimForm.mi .

They will usually respond to your claim within 48 hours.  If your plans change for any reason, Marriott has no cancellation fee as long as you cancel within 48 hrs (i think?) of arrival so no harm no foul.

Obviously its not a guarantee that you will find the same room cheaper elsewhere, but its worth a shot.  My Vegas trips have gotten fewer and further between (usually once or twice a year now) but the last 2 times I went I managed to get a pretty steep discount using this trip.  My last trip I booked two wraparound suites with this trick.  The time before I booked one wraparound suite and 4 normal rooms, all discounted.  Saved me and my buddies quite a bit of money.

Good luck.

Damn wrap around suites would be awesome . I was hoping someone on here worked at a hotel and could get a nice discount lol . But when I get home I will look into that thanks

I just looked this up out of curiousity and it was almost $40 cheaper per night through the Marriott website than on Hotels.com

This is why it's worth making a new thread for things like this, even though they get done often. You never know who's gonna chime in on your thread with great advice like that!

you have to check every site man.

i just did a test run for a random weekend in August since OP said he is going in August.

The weekend of Aug 11(fri) - 13 (sun) the wraparound suite on marriott.com is $635/nt.  I ran the same search on trivago and found a travel site called bestday.com that has the same wraparound suite for $612.59/nt.  Once they price match and add the 25% additional discount, the room will end up being around $460/nt which is a pretty damn good price for a wrap suite during the summer in Vegas.

its that easy to save a couple hundred bucks.

I'm a small reporter from "Rolling Stone" magazine that's in town to do an exclusive interview with Michael Jackson that's gonna be picked up by every major magazine in the country. I was gonna call the article "Michael Jackson Is Sitting On Top of the World," but now I think I might as well just call it "Michael Jackson Can Sit On Top of the World Just As Long As He Doesn't Sit in the Beverly Palm Hotel 'Cause There's No Niggers Allowed in There!"

Try that.

No one else can?

Just message this random guy who Facebook is all in Spanish ?

Honestly the best discounts at vegas are from the casinos themselves. Sign up as a member on their site and they will email you good discounts. Better than anything you'll find online.

I'm going in a month and I'm staying at the Wynn for $109 a night for 5 nights. I got the offer in my email. I signed up for every major casino and just picked the best deal. Some of their offers are public and you can just find the coupon code online but some of them require you to sign in like the Wynn and they're specific to your account(I'm sure all members get them).
