...the "Prof. Noussolia" in the quote below? The guy who said this is claiming to be a bjj black belt under him.
Prof. Noussolia is no longer teaching in the U.S. He was my primary
instructor for 4 years while I was in Orange Co, CA. Upon his discharge
from the service, he returned to his hometown in American Samoa and I havn't
talked to him since. (despite my best attempts) His lineage is from Japan,
Samoa, and from Brazil. I do not however, know the name of the man who gave
him his black belt.
I was awarded my black belt from him and I can't tell you if in Brazil it is
legitimate. I can tell you that I don't care, I don't live or teach in
Brazil. I can also tell you that my students do much better than average in
competition. No one that has been to a tournamnt as one of my students,
hasn't placed in the tournament if not first. You would be no exception. I
run the school with as much integrity as I possibly can.
"I do not however, know the name of the man who gave
him his black belt."
You would think in the ______ number of years it took for this guy to get his black belt, the topic of who gave his instructor HIS blackbelt would come up? Most BJJ guys are more than happy to volunteer this information before you ask.
I'd rather not say at the moment. My intention is not to flame the guy on the internet or "storm" his dojo or anything so childish and ignorant. I have NO problems with anyone teaching or learning grappling in whatever fashion they wish - AS LONG AS THEY AREN'T HOLDING THEMSELVES OUT TO BE SOMETHING THEY ARE NOT. As well as bringing mma more fans, TUF has brought out more lying shitbags trying to scam a dollar, as well.
I thought if anyone knew who his "teacher" was, they would be on here, if it was a true bjj player. I do NOT train with this guy or his school, but I know a couple of people who were asking about it.
The "about" page says that he is a bjj black under the ultimate martial arts guided system of bjj, whatever that is. The posted quotes, above, are from an email he sent to a friend.
