Has anyone read the black belt blueprint?

what is this guy's issue with cung le?

Plenty of books worth $40 bucks, just not this one or most of the bjj books.

Here is the secret to bb for free: STFU and train!

I have the book and was very unimpressed to say the least. There is alot of information provided in the book that you can very easily get elsewhere (freely). You'd also be able to pick everything in that book up with about 3-6 months training with a qualified instructor. There's stuff on techniques, diet, etc. etc. but I almost always get sketchy when hearing dieting tips from a Jiu Jitsu guy. Especially a Jiu Jitsu guy that is an advocate for PED usage.

Thank you all for your answers! Phone Post 3.0

Not impressed by it. thankfully I didn't buy, have a friend that DL'd

Just remember to try and break down what needs to be done in every position you're in.

If you aren't familiar with a position you're in try to get back to a position you are familiar with and go from there.

I skimmed through it on a friend's tablet at the gym. I really like it, but I will wait to buy it if the price ever drops to $20, OR the book gets printed.

OTOH, I think I paid $25 for a physical copy of Saulo's JJ University. I still go through that occasionally. If I lost my copy, even though I have read it I would absolutely pay $40 to replace it. I like it THAT much, but as much as I like it, I would hesitate to pay $40 for an electronic-only copy.

As a side note, from briefly going through BBBP, it looked like 70% of the stuff in the book, Nic discusses in his free videos. The videos and articles on his site are great. In fact, some of the articles appear to use exactly the same photos I remember seeing in the book?? example. Lots of good content there.
