Are you really trying to tell me that a fighter who has fast hands and one punch ko power in both of them for 3 rounds, has zero chance against a striker? Especially when that striker has the chin and striking credentials Hunt has? With 4 ounce gloves?

What they usually ignore or don't know is that he lost in that tournament, but was put in as an injury replacement and won. Anyone with knowledge of striking can watch Mark Hunt and know that, when it comes to technique, Hunto is not amongst the technical elite. However, a granite chin and a stick of dynamite attached to the end of each arm can take you a long way.

His striking technique isn't great for a top k-1 guy. Jack Slack said the same thing. But his chin and power gave him the ability to brawl like nobody else could and he had the ability to draw people into wars that he would win.
He's obviously still on a higher technical level than almost everyone else at heavyweight, but the chin, power, and speed in his hands are the best aspects of his striking.
