I was originally rooting for Connor because I think he's an interesting Match up for aldo. But today I watched the embedded vlog, and Connor said some things along the lines of "I'm going to personally cut this guy from the ufc. I'm going to finish his career." It really rubs me the wrong way when fighters say things like this. I might be a sucker for a shit talker, but when a fighter brags about someone's livelihood they have crossed the line. It's fine to day this guy can't beat me, I'm better ect that's 100% fine, that's exuding confidence. To say I'm going to make sure he he doesn't have a job the day after fight night is a scumbag thing to say, even if it's true.
So come Sunday at the garden I'll be rooting for the angry little German! who's with we!
