Anyone seen BJ as a 170 pounder?

I'm curious to see what he looks like coming into the Hughes fight. Matt seems like a pretty big 170 pounder, pure muscle. I'm wondering if BJ has put on muscle to bulk up.

Can't wait for this fight.

i've seen some pics from awhile back, probably even months before his gomi fight where he was supposed to have been about 184. i still have them if anyone wants to see

Post them up man. Damn, I didn't know he walks around that heavy. It must be tough for him to drop that kind of weight fighting at light weight. 170 lbs should be much better for him.

This might be a Randy Couture thing, where he actually fights better in a different weight class. I know 95% of the people are giving an easy win to Hughes, but I'm not one of them.

From pictures I've seen I don't think most of Penn's extra weight will be muscle like Matt. Pictures don't allways tell the truth though. I really think he would be better at 155. I'm pulling for Penn to win but I'm not betting on this fight.

BJ trains using crossfit.com routines...some of the most taxing workouts on the planet. The 15# he put on could not by any stretch of the imagination be fat unless he is consuming pure lard by the kilogram.

Hmmm, doesn't look like from those pictures, he's solid at 180. Still, BJ has never had a lot of muscle, but it's obvious the dude is damn strong, and hits real hard.

Should be the fight of the night. I think Penn will be the toughest fight Hughes has ever had, but that's just me.

I spoke to BJ tonight. He said he walks around at about 165 - 163 when he's in training. I don't expect to see him bulked up at all. He's very, very confident. But so is Matt Hughes.

Arnisguy, BJ sounded like he was itching to fight right now. His is very, very, very entertaining. Hughes was very matter of fact about his confidence.
