seek - I was really looking forward to get them. But was a bit disappointed when I got them.

I wish the explanations were more detailed. Great moves but I (just my opinion bros!!) think it lacked a bit of explanations.

Thanks Brandon, I wanted to give an honest review, so it helps you create even better stuff.
Which technique are you talking about?  Maybe I have a different learning style than you but I found the explanations very thorough.  I do not doubt you but I just want to hear what specifically was not detailed enough.

 Just saw the DVDs...dang, Budovideos did an outstanding job! They are sick!!! Wow, you guys have to check it out. Hopefully this expands peoples thoughts on chokes and 10th Planet

 I have watched these dvd's more than any other instructional I have (even more than Eddie's MTRG).  What I think makes them great is it really is only 6 techniques.  Once you figure that out and realize the ending is the same to the techniques you can just watch the details of the setup.



I have rewatched them looking for things not thoroughly explained and I cannot find anything.  I do have lots of grappling experience so maybe it is something that only a person with no experience could point out.  That sounds like I am trying to put people down but it is not meant that way.  Like maybe there are things that just make sense because of having lots of mat time that somebody without it would be clueless about.



I will show it to some of my buddies who don't grapple but are just fight fans and see what they think.  I will be watching them at work (getting paid to watch videos on strangulation-NICE!)

Great DVD's. Really good explanations on the techniques. The production was good and everything was shown from multiple angles. The transitions were awesome and being familiar with the finishes I was able to put the material to use right away. Highly recommended.

Hey Brandon!

Just a bit more details on the techniques, precise placements of hands, etc.....

I own almost every set that exists, so I am now used to prefer those with the very fine details, timing of moves, close ups and stuff.

Hands down one of the best DVD instructionals I have in my collection. If you want to know the Darce, Peruvian, Head and arm and Guillotine inside out this Fade to Black is the shit!

SoulGrappler - OK guys.......im not really sure if we are all watching the same DVD....but, all the moves....ya.....they're crap. im pretty much speechless that anyone thinks these moves really work. he cant even do them against shitty whitebelts during the sparring sessions. i actually came onto the UG to see how much you guys were bashing this DVD, but it seems like everyone on here has been brainwashed....oh ya...bring on the flaming M'er F'ers

 Are you trying to say that guillotines don't work?  Or darces, gator rolls, arm triangles etc?  There are like 2 moves on there that ar elow percentage but for the most part it is solid stuff.  You are talking out of your ass.

SOULGRAPPLER- I know that you are just a troll, but I cant resist. You must not know much about Grappling if you think that this is not a good instructional. I think that this is a very good DVD and well worth the price. I cant wait to get to train with Brandon in person.

good set, basically shows you how to get a choke on someone from pretty much any position...i especially like the darce from underneath side control, you wouldnt fuckin believe how many people ive caught with that n ive only had the set 2 weeks n looked at the darce vid only in serious detail, just kinda glanced at the others...it is what it is, if ur lookin for a buncha chokes, get it; if you want a full bjj set i recommend andre galvaos set
