Anyone seen the OKC and Ruby Ridge Netflix docs?

I think they might have originally aired on PBS. Pretty damn good, I had no idea about Ruby Ridge. Seems like one of the most fucked up things I've read about our government doing. Discuss

Yes, Ruby Ridge was a govt clusterfuck.   Anyone who believes the US isn't a police state should educate themselves about RR.

What's the name of the OKC one?

I think just Oklahoma City. It'll definitely pop up if you type that in the search.

Watched them both, pretty scary what happened at RR, and just plain sad what happened in OKC. To see the people fleeing the building and hearing stories of the aftermath really got to me. I was to young and dumb to understand the devastation when it happened originally.

I was too, but we did visit shortly after(I live in north Texas) and it sunk in a bit. I still have the pictures from that trip. A true piece of shit Mcveigh was who should have handled his anger a different way. Hell had he taken out the RR sniper like he thought about doing I wouldn't have even faulted him for it. They say he was at gun shows handing out free cards with the guys name/address that killed Vicki Weaver

Can still probably find Lon Horiuchi's address online if you look hard enough. Don't forget Waco too and all those children that were killed. Sad.

Yep.

Not to repeat myself but it's mindboggling that after incidents like those, there are still people who believe the US isn't a police state.

And yes, Lon Horiuchi is a genuine piece of shit.

I worked that day getting FEMA lines up and getting our techs in and out of the area. It was crazy. Our phone site was across the street and had all the windows blown out and it was raining. I just remember working late into the night in our control center in Tulsa and then discovering that our building had been evacuated do to a threat. Nobody even told us in the control center and we were too busy to notice. We just kept on working. One of the craziest days I've ever had.
