Anyone still think lighter classes are a joke.

Tj fight was good. No one complains anytime meisha fights hell I even liked the caraway fight and a finish from Tj to put a stamp on it Phone Post 3.0

Only weight class I have a problem with is Flyweight. It's just not deep enough. Phone Post 3.0

My favourite classes are FW through to LHW.

The classes below that I find a little irritating but there are exceptions.

HW is very hit and miss but you can't beat a good HW clash. Phone Post 3.0

125 205 and HW are shallow as shit. I still enjoy watching them don't get me wrong but its still a problem. There aren't enough athletes at 205 and hw that haven't been snapped up by other sports and there simply are't enough people that can make 125

All weight categories below open weight are basically meaningless, in that they are more a dieting competition than a fighting competition.

That said I would not get rid of them, they can be entertaining. However the "competitors" should be forced to wear humorous outfits, and ideally ride into the ring on pigs and stuff.

Never enjoyed the DJ class yet but the rest have grown on me so who knows...

Same problem HW has always had although it's gotten better of late. Phone Post 3.0

Flyweight definitely needs greater depth. Seems strange that they introduced a division that's so shallow. Phone Post 3.0

Love them

dont care for the under LW divisions as a whole, but the top 3 guys at 145/135 have been putting on some good fights recently.

trobinson21 - I don't think people hate the lighter classes, it's just nature to gravitate to more imposing weight classes. Phone Post 3.0

for me, it was the amount of point fighting decisions these weight classes give us. pitter patting to a D without marks on their face. you dont see that at LHW/HW. to me thats not fighting, its point sparring. watch Faber/Wineland, then watch Hunt/Bigfoot. ones a fight, ones a sparring match. unfortunately, the little guys have made me yawn waay to much. Aldo, Conor, TJ, Barao, McDonald, & Stephens have been stepping it up for the little guys tho!

Aside from Mighty Mouse division...I'm actually excited to watch the lighter weigh classes now...you could thank Conor and killashaw for that...sure it's not deep, but there's quality fights to be made Phone Post 3.0

I dont see what so great about it after top 6. Thompson coming up maybe.

I enjoy 205.... It's not thin, just had a freakishly good champ and lots of guys close to each other talent wise below him. I just wish it wasn't favoring wrestlers more than other skill sets (a cage, no yellow cards etc..) Phone Post 3.0

205's thin as fuck and has been for years. Even Shogun got his shot off only a 2-fight win streak that included that horrible performance over a semi-retired 44yo Coleman.

Challengers at LHW in the last 4 years have included:

- Rampage "Please Don't Wrestle Me" Jackson on a 2-fight win streak.
- A Lyoto on a 1-2 streak where the win was over a 48yo Randy who had no high level wins for 4 years.
- A Vitor who hadn't fought at LHW for half a fucking decade and had dropped to MW with a 4-5 record at 205.
- A Chael who hadn't fought at LHW for seven fucking years and had dropped to MW with a 3-5 record at 205.

Now, just when it seemed the division might be coming right, they give Gus a shot off a first round KO loss.

Jones is my favourite fighter and until he got himself in trouble had finally faced three legit contenders on the trot, but half of his challengers have been sadly short of genuinely "elite" LHW talent

select fighters are interesting..not that many..
