I can't help but question the guy's motives considering his history.
"I was retired, I just hadn't formally announced it. It was an out of competition drug test. Why would Nsac have the ability to do an out of competition drug test to a guy who is retired?"
APPEAL
I can see him coming at NSAC with something like this.
That's why they waited until right after the press conference. But even then, Sonnen should argue that Silva never signed the agreement so there was no fight scheduled

He had already applied for a license to fight and took things that are banned even if he had no fight signed.

he is just a loser, because now he doesn't have to face the NSAC.
Wouldn't surprise me. Announce a retirement, hope the media steps away from the absurd circus that is Chael's drug test history and must recent results and he can come back in a year.
Can't wait for when they announce Wand's next fight a year from now. His opponent gets attacked backstage before his walkout and Chael's music comes on and he rushes to the cage. Special guest referee Nick Diaz calls for the match to begin.
Will probably be perfectly timed with Jim Ross joining the commentary team.

Not sure how he'd get out of that one
Actually that isn't correct. He had stopped the meds BEFORE he got his license. He also believed it was out of his system. He credited USADA for being the best and never denied taking it. He obviously should have been more diligent with his disclosure to the NSAC but too many here are mixing up timelines.
None of this matters now as he is retired. Maybe he comes back later but hey, this is what so many of you asked for and wanted. Funny how you guys still aren't happy.
On the preparation of Ali: At this time, Ali made a special emphasis on the preparation work on the cardio. Be the first career pyatiraundovy fight, so the camp in Albuquerque, he has done a tremendous job. When you move to Canada, Ali did not have to change the time zone. Now he has successfully placed himself and brings to the fight. Problems in order to make weight Ali should not be, because now it is dry as ever and is in great shape.
About Johnson: Demetrius Johnson really has tremendous experience pyatiraundovyh fights and this is its advantage. He is rightly ranked among the best fighters in the world, regardless of weight classes, is very fast, resilient and versatile fighter. However, I believe that it is possible to win The fact that the champion has never met an opponent with such a powerful blow, and it will be for him a big surprise. All confidence Johnson immediately come to naught.
On the prediction for the fight: I believe in the ultimate success of Ali. I think he will win by knockout closer to the middle of the battle, in the second or third round. Bookmakers do not attribute it to the favorites, but they underestimate Ali. They did not see how much effort he put in training, in what form is now, and therefore can not objectively assess the balance of forces. Bidder is almost always the underdog, but any champion it comes time to give up his place. Now it's time to make Johnson.

You know I think he means what he says (lots of delusional BS crap included) for a large part and does not think things through before he talks and he kind of admitted that. I see Sonnen in the cage again.
