Anyone Use Light Therapy for SAD or in General?

Does anyone here use one of those light therapy lamps or visors, and if so, what led you to use it and what has your experience been?

Sometimes when I'm dragging ass I'll go outside, close my eyes, then turn my face directly toward the sun for a few minutes.


Between shiftwork,sleep and shitty weather, I miss out on a lot of daylight during November-Feb.

I bought an "Uplift" brand light a couple of years ago, and I will visit a tanning bed once a week during December and January.

It's a huge improvement, with a better overall mood, no seasonal weight gain, better sleep and don't get sick during the winter.
