APEX PPV: FEB 26TH - COMMERCIAL!!

n: February 25, 2005
As previously announced, on February 26th, 2005 APEX Championship Fighting: GENESIS will be available on PPV on Bell Express-VU and Canal Indigo in Canada starting at 9:00pm EST. Unfortunately, APEX: GENESIS will not be available on Viewer's Choice Canada until the month of April. Please enjoy the high action commercial of APEX: GENESIS provided to us by Canal Indigo (in french) and enjoy the entire show on Saturday!

APEX brought itself to the forefront of MMA by bringing in major names like Ivan Menjivar, who fought in the main event against Milwaukee tough guy Ryan Ackerman, UFC Bad Boy Wes "The Project" Sims in the "Battle of Giants" against Montrealer Ricardeau Francois and Tony "The Freak" Fryklund returning to Montreal to face a dangerous Chris Myers. Also on the card, Matt Horwich and Antony Rea face off in a battle that promises to have plenty of fireworks. This event also includes fighters like UFC Veteran Steve Berger, Team Quest member Ryan Schultz, Brad Blackburn and many Quebec fighters like Fritz Paul, Ulisses Rocha and Steve Legault.

APEX: GENESIS is hosted by renowned commentator Stephen "The Fight Professor" Quadros, who has worked on top level fighting events around the world such as K-1, PRIDE and King of the Cage. Quadros is known as the best play-by-play announcer in Mixed Martial Arts and is an invaluable addition to APEX. He is joined in the booth by UFC Superstar Frank Trigg and Canadian MMA icon "Showdown" Joe Ferraro. JT McCarthy joins the team as the post-fight interviewer.

The French language broadcast is hosted by well-known Quebec broadcaster Jean-Paul Chartrand, who shares the mic with former MMA fighter Jean Riviere (who holds a win against MMA legend Carlos Newton) and longtime kickboxing promoter and fight analyst Vic Theriault. Theriault, a two-time Showtime Karatemania producer, also produced the show and was so amazed by the quality of the event, that he then joined APEX as the Director of Operations.
