wrestlers? I don't mean for sucking weight, but for an overall lifestyle change. Will a low carb diet benefit me as a wrestler? What are the pros and cons? Thanks.
cutting refined sugars and processed flour from your diet = good
there are good carbs like fiber, whole wheat, whole grain rice, those can be safely eaten...
I just think that being on the low carb diet makes your feel lighter and not so "thick" making it easier to train, helps with speed etc
You'll need to keep eating fruits and vegetables. Athletic performance usually suffers if you aren't getting enough carbs. Cutting down on sugars and other bad carbs is a great idea, it gives me tons more energy.
