Arlovski to fight Philipe Lins in May

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Orlovsky will return to the octagon on May 2 at UFC Fight Night 174 in Oklahoma, and organization debutant Philipe Lins will be his rival.

The organization of the match was reported by informed sources close to the situation.

In 2018, Filipe Lins took part in the PFL Grand Prix and became its winner, in the final match of the competition by technical knockout in the fourth round of Josh Copeland. Having won a million dollars, the Brazilian took a break and last year did not return to the cage. Currently, the 34-year-old Lins is leading a series of four early victories, and suffered his last defeat in August 2017, losing to Vadim Nemkov by knockout in the first round.

41-year-old Andrei Orlovsky won just one victory in his last six games. In the previous match, held in November last year at UFC 244 in New York, the Belarusian heavyweight lost by knockout to Jairzinho Rosenstraik already at the 29th second of the match.

Philipe Lins is a good signing for the UFC HW division. I'm not sure why he didn't re-sign with the PFL. I think for most guys that is the best way to make the most money but nice to see him in the UFC. They both train at ATT as well.
