Ascension - Scifi Show

Is anyone else watching this miniseries on Syfy?

I don't think it's bad at all, so I'm surprised by lack of discussion.

It's no Iron Sky, but I'm entertained.

I just finished yesterdays episode... shits crazy :)

In for later! Going to watch it over the weekend. Phone Post 3.0

And a 12 Monkeys Series?!

Tricia Helfer still looks banging at 40.

12 Monkeys seems a stretch at that length. We shall see.

I'm not going to discuss Ascension, because I don't want to spoil it for the two other people watching.

I would give Tricia Helfer the rape even when she is 70. Phone Post 3.0

I like the bait from the radiation truck in the terraforma. She has that face that makes her better than "best ass on the ship" (ese culo).

Um....... wtf

The entire subplot with the kid who teleports fools was awful.

Her tard faces were hilarious.

O!

Ending really shit the bed. Phone Post 3.0

O!

yeah so whats the whole point of the "ship".

was it to

1. to see if the ship could survie?

2. to weed out all the crap genes to create the super gene person?

3. to make a technology that can beem people to another planet

4. wait so they knew there really was a planet that could support human life all the time?!

I think it was to waste 4 hours of our lives.

Well played.

lol I still thoroughly enjoyed it... hope they make another one to continue on.

The acting is so horrible that I'm having a hard time getting through the first episode.

SPOILERS

Was really looking forward to this show.

Was a little disappointed in the first night, thinking it was just another space soap opera... until the twist.

Finding out they never left Earth made it interesting, but the whole psychic phenomenon developing around the girl seemed kind of weak... until she sent that guy to Proxima. Because if the goal was to breed that capability, then they really are on a ship to the stars, even though they never left Earth. So a twist on the twist.

But I guess it may not be Proxima. Because when they pointed Proxima out to her from the observation deck, she said that way was death, and pointed to a different star saying that way was life.

If ordered as a series, the wheels may fall off early, but I would like to see it to see if they can keep it up. Stokes out in the real world could be real interesting.

And more shots of Tricia Helfer's butt are always appreciated.
