It starts out innocent, then it gets ugly. Promising world beater talent is replaced by an up and coming, new and improved version. Teammates at first, then bitter rivals in the end. This is Jones replaces Rashad all over again. I sometimes forget this happened, but then I remember Diego replaced by GSP.
I feel sad for Askren really. He had us fooled into thinking he was the best, but it's obvious what's happening now. Rufus saw he had the true Champion in CM Punk and is making the transition. Will Askren even fight again under Rufus? He must be so frustrated with Askren's inability to learn his stand up style.
This isn't a dis on Asktertisk, I mean Askren. The writing is on the wall. CM Punk will soon be the new face of Rufus Sport 170 lb. weight division. Askren packing for Blackzilians as we speak.
