You order something online and your card gets charged but nothing shows up. Then you contact the retailer in question via e-mail but they don't contact you back?
i have had that problem with so many companies on the UG its not even funny
give them 2 weeks after last contact and then file with your credit card company if the stuff hasn't shown up
I had a pro fighter who posts here quite a bit keep me going about how my stuff was on the way for over 8 weeks once. every time i'd talk to him he'd tell me either that he'd sent my order the day before or that he'd send it that day. finally he just stopped answering my phone calls and emails. its pretty sad when someone can't be bothered to go to the post office once in 8 weeks to mail something that's already been paid for
thaks fellas. It's been a tad less than two weeks so i'll give them a few more days.
It wouldn't be a big deal if it was for me, but someone gave me cash and I ordered them some stuff since they didn't have internet access. Makes me feel like an ass when i gotta keep saying "not here yet" every night I train.
Were is it coming from? ive had orders take as much as a 6 weeks from overseas etc...
You guys need to up your game a little bit.
Paying for merchandise and not recieving it is called mail fraud. It's a federal offense.
Making this fact known to your retailer usually expedites the shipment.
what if you purchase an item on ebay using paypal payment methods and do not receive merchandise, any suggestions?
I only received partial refund as paypal claimed it was all they could recover from now "not to be found" sellar.
At that point I'd be mad.
No it wasn't mmagear, someone who's new to this forum. I'll post there name and more detailed info if I don't get a response from the e-mail I sent today.
I did report the issue to Paypal and filed a formal complaint. They seized what funds they could from his account but it was only half of what I paid. I could not contact the sellar via email as sellar will not respond to said email(s), and Paypal although deciding in my favor will not refund the other half of my money, although they claim buyer/sellar protection.
So, is there anyway to persuade Paypal to make good on their claims? Does Mail Fruad apply to this situation as in would PayPal be held accountable?
