ATTN APEX PROMOTERS!

On previous cards posted for September 5th we saw Brent Beauparlant's name. After the show he put on June 18th at UGC and the reputation he has here in Montreal, we were all really looking forward to buying tickets based on him being there...is he still fighting? what's up?

dragonfire from my understanding "yes" he is but I will contact APEX for you and find out.

awesome....thanks....we also really want to know who the poor guy is who has to fight him!

We're definately working hard on getting Brent on the card. We had a couple fights pull through, but I'm confident he'll be there..

Working very hard...I was the catalyst in trying to get Brent on the inagural Apex card.

Bare with us please.

I want to see Brent put the hurt on someone, that alone is worth the ticket.

205 or 185?

C

205......and maybe all those guys out there at 205 are shaking in their boots? Step up out there guys....

Hopefully you can get him a fight in the next few days so the guy can actually train knowing who his opponent is. Best of luck. We have a whole section of perspective spectators waiting for that fight to be signed.

brents tough and a nice guy but ther is no reason to bust the chops of other fighters at 205 becasue no one is yet signed...

why so sensitive sasaki?
He has been training to fight and they keep falling through....such is all too frequent in MMA and it affects fighters mentally and physically...not to mention takes food from mouth. you train and train and then no paycheck...it isn't right. I'm sure you've been there... I'm surprised you are supporting me here.

Come on!!! it's true that it's sad that fighters are pulling out way too often but it's not like he's living out of fighting...

so you think it's okay that this happens?
Without us all supporting one another and making MMA an organized business, how do you expect the rest of society to see it as legitimate?

I read a thread on the UG from a guy that was pretty down about the same thing....if we all want MMA to become quasi-respected and recognized as boxing is, and perhaps therefore enabling fighters to START to make the money boxers do, the sport needs organization and for that, it means people being honourable business people.

And...it is EVERY fighters wish to make a living doing what they love and were born to do....don't you agree?
If we allow people to back out willy-nilly..do you think that will EVER happen?

i know what you mean but too many people talk all types is crap on the net :) i just didint want to see brendt's thread turn into another trash talking expo... i heard he demo'ed the guy he foguth that weekend i was in town he should do well. Last minute cancels suck but it happens
