Unfortunately, I am not allowed to talk about it too much in public, but this article should give you a sense of what happened to the site (I worked for Sportnet):

Needless to say, I am no longer working full-time at Rated (and neither is anyone else) but am definitely looking to continue doing what what I was doing over there (mainly the video content) with a different MMA media outlet. Hopefully something good comes of all this.



And for the record, I am really proud of what we accomplished in 7 short months thanks IN LARGE PART to everyone at The UG.

I really enjoyed your interviews. They were a good mix of substance and fun. A lot of people try to lean too far toward the fun (without the benefit of being funny).

I'm confused, though, if this is your screen name, who is JarryPark who usually was promoting your vids on this board?

This is too bad for Ariel. MMARated was Ariel. This site came out of nowhere with Ariel’s outstanding interviews leading the way.

I do not see the point of going to this site with out them.

I used to have another site named JarryPark.com so at first my screen name was simply Jarry Park, but that was always me.

And for the record, the reason for all this had nothing to do with traffic or any of the work we were putting out. The answer is in the article...

Thanks again for all the continued love. I'm doing all that I can to make sure this isn't the last the MMA world has seen/heard of me.
