The correct framing is "Important announcement for the next Ultimate Fighter show" or something of that flavor.

While I agree it was a rather lame announcement I knew it'd be either that or Rampage being a coach which will obviously come tonight. Either way can't anyone be satisfied with a great free card full of entertaining fights? It truly is impossible to please everyone.

Is anyone here seriously suprised that these huge announcements are things we already pretty much know?
What you have to remember is that if you are just someone who watches the shows, not someone who lives on an MMA forum, it might have been at least a medium sized announcement. It's also a way of hyping up the VGA to get some people to watch another spike show.
