I looked into them. Great for cc and felt really good in my hand. Phone Post 3.0

If going for an M&P get the .45. It shoots great, recoil is like a 9mm

can't see because it's blocked at work

but i can see it's a S&W by the link

my dad's s&w shield compact 9mm is exactly what i'd carry if i didn't live in NJ (Nazi Jersey)

Have you fired a .40?

Go to the range with as many frens with different hand guns and calibers as possible before deciding.

mitch, the .40 doesn't kick that bad.

Honestly I don't know what all the buzz is about the .45 ACP. I never thought my .45 kicked all that bad.

M&Ps have great reputations. Phone Post 3.0

S&W M&P Shield 9mm or .40

S&W Bodyguard .380

Ruger LCP or LC9

Sig P238 or P938

I carried an M&P 40C for a couple years as a compact sidearm. I even got the optional thumb safety because USPSA shooting had gotten me used to resting my thumb on it as part of my grip.

For me it's a little heavy and a little blocky for a top of the line CC. I carry a walther PPQ now and am happy with it - great stock trigger and a tighter grouping gun for just a bit more size.

The Shield 9mm is great for CC.

It has a great reputation. The M&P's are homeruns for S&W.

I WOULD GO WITH THE 9MM VERSION PERSONALLY
