man, trying to fight the urge to move to NYC. i just spent a week there and the people are nice, intelligent, classy, and have jobs. the East Village neighborhood i stayed at (and would live in) has charm & character. there's no mall culture, no Walmarts, no Starbucks...just friendly mom-and-pop stores, restaurants, bakers, butchers, barbers, etc.
coming home to a park full of micros is gonna keep me from wanting to come home to Hawaii again. at least i still got Rabello.

the thing about the Lakers is that they are a big market team with lots of money...they are supposed to win. what makes the Warriors special is that they are a small market underdog team. hence, there's nothing special about the Lakers.
