Ryukyu,
Have you visited this gym yet?
I had some questions about it.
Thanks
-John
Yes,I went there for a bit this summer. What do you want to know?
Thanks for the response.
I wanted to know how the training was compared to other gyms further down around BKK. I usually go to Eminent but I am looking for a change of pace.
I hear a lot of good things about True Bee but I wanted to hear from someone who has been to other top camps as well.
I am starting to learn that just because a gym wins "camp of the year award" doesn't mean it's the right place for a foreigner. Eminent was a step up from Kaewsamrit but it seems money is becoming a motive even there now.
Money isn't the motive for sure at True Bee. I got the feeling the owner would rather less people would show up.
The instruction was outstanding. The padwork was very very good. The only problem I had was the 20 hippy kids who showed up to try Muay Thai. I only stayed a week and the hippys left around the same time. Bad timing I guess.
Cool, sounds great. I have been doing a lot of research and the consensus seems to be the same all around.
I will be heading out in February.
Thanks for the insight!

I trainned at Bee's gym for 5 months. Great gym at it's best. I've trainned at some 10 gyms or so before. I have to say that Bee and Ae are some of the best padman/instructors I've had the chance to work with.
But like mentioned above, when the gym gets busy they're not set up to handle it.
There's hippy's around 24/7. Lots of drop ins. They do a yoga then do a drop in at the gym. Most don't train for more then a day.
Lots of Dutch considering Trudy "Bee's Partner" is from Holland.
Best thing to do is to write her an email and find out how many people are there.
Pai is a great place to be. Very chilled, Lots of hot springs to kick back in on sundays.
