I was thinking of wearing a kilt this past weekend
to a friends house in Ohio (he had the Kingston, Ont
trio Crooked Wood - two of them formerly from the
'Shores of Newfoundland' playing in his garage), but
the only place I know of (retail) that sells/rents
them didn't have any for rent, and the only other
person I was thinking of was JHR from that wedding
pic with his brother (LOL), and I was this close
(") to emailing him to ask him were he got his...
..anyway, I'm going to buy one eventually, I'll
check out that website that Dougie left, however I'd
rather buy one from a retail store in person, with
the socks, shoes, vest, shirt, sash, buckle, etc..
man they can get upwards of $700 from what I've seen.

Mine cost $250 to RENT... lol
His cost $650 to buy. He's right into our Scottish Heritage (has a tattoo of our Grandmother's clan on his arm)
They are very nice and extremely durable (as you would expect for that price)
I really had my doubts about wearing one but good god... the amount of pretty, pretty girls that come up to you is unreal.
Even for a ugly son of a bitch like me, you could pull mad tail wearing one of those if you wanted.

the tartan selection isn't huge but if you want a cheap kilt that's actually really nice for what you pay i'd suggest stillwaterkilts.com, at $80 american for a kilt that looks good, that's not too shabby
and JHR the cost of renting kilts is why I looked into a cheap alternative to buy lol
